Marathon Ranked - How Ranked Beta Works

Full breakdown of Marathon Ranked beta: Runner Level 25 requirement, gear ante, Holotags, score targets, loss penalties, Tag Chips, and Ranked Points.

Marathon Ranked beta is a weekend queue in Season 1. You need Runner Level 25, enough equipped gear value for the ante, and one Holotag in your backpack. That Holotag sets your score target, your loss penalty, and how much bonus RP you can earn above target.

Step-by-step

  1. Qualify for the queue - Reach Runner Level 25 and join during an active Ranked weekend.
  2. Meet the ante - Low Stakes needs 3,000 equipped gear value; High Stakes needs 10,000.
  3. Bring your Holotag - Your Holotag must be in your backpack and sets your score target plus loss penalty.
  4. Loot and exfil - Exfil at or above target to earn RP. Exfil below target gives no rank change.
  5. Push over target - Enemy Holotags and Tag Chips increase your overperformance capacity for bonus RP.
